Established in the year 1992, Blue Bird Public (Higher Secondary) School (BBPS) has maintained its distinctive comprehensive knowledge imparting quality education for more than 25 silver years. Situated in Korba (Chhattisgarh), BBPS is not just known for its educators, infrastructure and teaching methods but is also renowned across various cities across the globe attributable to its skilled and erudite alumni.
BBPS is house to over 1000 bright students and more than 40 scholarly and highly experienced educators who make the most out of every day by gaining a valuable experience in the form of theoretical as well as practical knowledge.
The school is managed and run by Shree Durga Prasad Educational Society (Korba) which is a registered body under C. G. Societies' Registration Act 1973, holding registration number 452 dated 22 January 1993. The school is also recognized and offlicted to C. G. Board of Higher Secondary Education (Raipur), UDISE CODE-22051027409 and School code-332026.
BBPS provides education in Science, Mathematics and Commerce groups in higher secondary classes.

Please note that 75% attendance is mandatory for consideration of promotion.b) Promotion will be on the Overall marks attained during the academic year.

Report cards will not be handed over till all fees are paid in full.

Promotions are indicated in the Final report in April and successful students are promoted to their new classes in June each year.

On Report card Distribution Day, if Parents are unavailable, they may send a representative with a letter authorizing them to collect the Report Card.

In the month of July during the year 1992, two compassionate individual envisaged a noble cause of giving back to the community by opening an educational institution. Established by Late Smt. Prabha Gurha and Late Sh. K. B. Gurha, BBPS is an epitome of knowledge and benevolence due to our respected founders who believed in the power of education and the strength in patriotism. BBPS is still one of the oldest and the most distinguished schools in our district.
